After being in the press for many, many other reasons (stonks!), GameStop wanted to get back to their roots as being the hub for gamer community. Gamers are a passionate bunch who appreciate authenticity more than most.

Meet, “There’s a Place for Us,” a campaign that embraces familiar nerdy stereotypes. It’s dark. It’s funny. And it was wildly disruptive. If you didn’t get it, it wasn’t meant for you. As the kids say, IYKYK.
